Space Clearing

Another service I can offer is that of space clearing. This is a service I feel that will be more requested as we move more into the awareness that the space in which we work and live can really affect us in many ways. We all have experienced that feeling of going into a room where we feel "uncomfortable" yet the room may look perfectly nice from an aesthetic point of view. So what is it that makes us feel this way? When we understand that everything is energy and nothing is just a solid mass we can start to see what it is that we are sensing. The new science of quantum physics explains this. Rupert Sheldrake’s books are a good starting point if you what to delve deeper.

Houses can carry imprints of previous occupants and if, for instance, a couple live in a house where the previous occupants argued constantly and became divorced this would carry that imprint affecting them. It has been well documented that the discordant energy can have a very real impact on people. Likewise the death of someone in a room can carry feelings of heaviness and gloom.

Unseen energy interference can manifest itself as ghosts and spirits which can cause a lot of disturbance and mental anguish. In these cases, I work to "clear" the space affected and, as often is the case, administer healing to the occupants. For it is usually the occupants mental and emotional states that have attracted these energies in the first place. There is always learning and growing spiritually, even though these events have taken place. So, in other words, there is always a positive it what would seem like a horrible experience.

It is not always previous occupants, or unseen energies that affect a space. The actual land that a house has been built on can also influence the energies in a very real way. This is especially true for new houses. Surprising perhaps that a "new" house could be affected? In England for example we are very short of land for building new housing. Therefore all manner of land is being used regardless of what it was before. For example, a disused public house in my area is being renovated into a care home. This is not conductive to the support and care of the elderly energetically. I can re-adjust the energies and clear the negative imprints so that the land or house is clean and sparkling.

Also the electromagnetic fields can affect the energies of a house and again research is showing how power cables and pylons can affect us in a very detrimental way. Increasingly phone masts are popping up cunningly disguised which are another source of electromagnetic interference.

As you can see there are many different situations where Space Clearing can be used. Each situation is unique however, to give you a rough idea of what is involved, I have listed the following.

• A general space clearing in an average sized 2-3 bedroom house takes takes between 2 and 3 hours.
• Larger houses and land can take up to 3 or 4 hours.
• Commercial buildings and offices are difficult to assess without first visiting.

Generally to get the most out of the clearing all the occupants are asked to be present including pets.

I will then go round each room, including the front and back gardens, or land surrounding the space. I use a number of techniques to clear each room. While I am doing that I ask the occupants to sit quietly in one room. I also tune in to feel any areas that need special attention.

I then ask the occupants to accompany me round each room where offerings and blessings, are instilled. We also go to the outside (what ever the weather!)

We then create an altar in an agreed room; this consists of flowers, candles, crystals, etc. I then ask the occupants to tell me what they would like to gain from the newly created space. A sacred ceremony is performed according to the occupant’s needs and personal agenda, with everyone involved. Sometimes I give individual healing.

I will use certain flower essences, colours, and fragrances to enhance the space. Also my knowledge of Holistic Interior Design can be utilised to gain further understanding in creating a beautiful life enhancing nurturing space for posterity.

Each person, house, flat, space is different and as I work intuitively, so the clearing unfolds. I can guarantee that at the end of the session you will feel lighter and clearer and your house/space will be shining and any negative spirits etc, will have been cleared.

FEES

I charge £40 per hour (plus travelling time).

The charge includes all materials - i.e. candles, candle holders, incense, flowers and any other materials I consider necessary for the session. Sometimes I also recommend flower remedies for which I charge separately.

I will consider travelling within a 150 mile radius of Bristol.
